MillionPlus Private Finance‘s sponsored racing driver Rick Parfitt Jnr won twice at Snetterton race track last weekend, coming 1st in his class in both Rounds 5 and 6 of the British GT4 Championship. Rick is now leading the GT4 championship with the next round of the series at Brands Hatch on 10th and 11th August.
In Round 5, Rick Parfitt Jnr and his co-driver Ryan Ratcliffe recorded their first win of the season. After a daring first lap manoeuvre, the Optimum drivers finished with a commanding win of over 40 seconds from their nearest rivals. Round 6 was even more exciting; after losing 50 seconds in the first 5 laps due to an electrical fault, Rick fought back from behind to win the race by just 2.5 seconds with some inspired driving in the final laps.
